List of Movies Releasing in 2015
2015 might become the golden year or better say the most profitable year to the film industry. After all the year marks the release of most talked about sequels like Star Wars Episode VII and The Avengers 2. Around 200 movies are going to release globally in the year 2015. Earlier Batman VS Superman was going to release in 2015 but it was pushed to 2016 release date.Last year only two movies (Transformers: Age of Extinction and The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies) were able to touch the golden $1 billion mark. But this year will surely change the rankings in the highest grossing Hollywood films of all time. While Star Wars Episode VII and The Avengers 2 are already predicted to give a strong competition to AVATAR’s earnings, movies like Furious 7, Jurassic World, Terminator Genisys, Ant-Man, Spectre, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and Mission Impossible 5 are seen as the dark horses in the $1 Billion race.
Here is the complete list of films that are going to release in the year 2015:
LIST OF MOVIES RELEASING IN SEPTEMBER 2015 AND OCTOBER 2015:

The Buzz:
Audiences visited Hotel Transylvania the first time because the
oddball setting still had a relatable premise: a father's concerns for
his teenage daughter and her first big crush. Match this with fan
favorite animator Genndy Tartakovsky's vision and direction, and you
have a worldwide hit and new franchise. The second chapter seems a bit
convoluted, as sequels can be, and the humor seems to be a bit more
cutting. We also noted that Adam Sandler has a screenwriting credit this
time around, which was not the case with the original, so our fangs are
bared a bit. With Mel Brooks joining the cast as Vlad, the uber vampire
patriarch, we're getting a sinking feeling that HT2 could be the animated equivalent of Meet the Fockers.
The Buzz:
One positive thing we can say about The Intern: It seems marketed
to a demographic of people who don't spend their time hating on Anne
Hathaway. Our mom thinks Annie is sweet and she will see the latest
Nancy Meyers movie on opening weekend and admire the story's messages
and the Pottery Barn sets.
The Buzz:
Are young activists just meddling teenagers? Part of Eli Roth's macabre
imagination addresses this question head on in his long awaited/long
delayed return to the big screen, which finds Roth tipping his hat to Cannibal Holocaust
and other genre classics ... before filling that hat with even more
terror, torture, and dehumanization. And humor. Eli Roth's inescapable
humor. As always, critics are divided as to whether or not Roth's plays
for laughs buttress the story or derail it, but we will say the thought
of watching what happens after this particular tribe gets high from
marijuana smoke might get us to brave seeing it opening weekend. Way,
way, way less exciting are the reports of what befalls his lead
character, Justine, played by Lorenza Izzo, who will next be seen in Knock Knock. If you saw Aftershock,
the survival/horror story that Roth co-wrote, produce, and starred in
for director Nicolás López, you'll recognize many of the faces here
before they meet their respective fates.
The Buzz:
We totally understand why, after years of making special effects heavy
blockbuster movies, that Roland Emmerich would want to make a smaller,
narrative driven project that means something to him as an out gay man.
But the decision to frame a story about the Stonewall Inn riots around
Jeremy Irvine's lily white, fresh-off-the-Port-Authority-bus character
was ill advised, and it'll be tough for the movie to rise above the
pre-release backlash. The initial look at the movie went down the wrong
tube with pretty much everyone familiar with Stonewall, a happening
that's never far from people's minds; in fact, one of the riot's best
known figures, Marsha P. Johnson, has enjoyed a posthumous resurgence in
popularity over the last few years. There's an excellent free
documentary on her available on YouTube, FYI.
The Buzz:
Giulio Ricciarelli's documentary has been chosen as Germany's official
selection for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 2016 ceremonies.
The Buzz:
One of the great things about Sara Hirsh Bordo's documentary on Lizzie
Velasquez is that it shows how busy -- and hectic -- Lizzie's life is at
times because she's so in demand as an author and motivational speaker.
The Buzz:
We love the thought of Hailee Steinfeld in another period film, this
time joined by Brit Marling, who always makes interesting role choices.
We've heard some rumblings about Daniel Barber's direction -- some
people say he doesn't fully land the story despite a powerful third act
-- but the thought of a film about gender and race that doesn't shout
its intentions has us feeling curious and optimistic.
The Buzz:
This drama first caught our eye because Ben Mendelsohn looks a lot like
Martin Short on the poster, then we realized it's the latest project
from filmmaking duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck to fly a bit under the
radar since their breakthrough feature Half Nelson,
which was almost 10 years ago. Savvy distributor A24 is behind the
project, but it's one of the releases they put out on VOD long before
its theatrical release, so it could be a handful of losing-at-poker
metaphors for the filmmakers, Mendelsohn, and his co-star, Ryan
Reynolds.
The Buzz:
We've always thought there could be an emperor's new clothes situation
going on if we ever poked behind Arcade Fire's curtains, and that seems
to be the case based on the initial reviews of the documentary they
created with Kahlil Joseph, the music video director known for
stretching the boundaries of the art form. No one familiar with the band
would ever deny their humanitarian commitment to Haiti - nor should
anyone disrespect it - but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't a bit
painful to watch the band perform in the commune of Jacmel, according to an ardent fan and critic. Said differently: if we were talking about U2, The Reflektor Tapes is more Zoo TV than Rattle & Hum
